If you don’t have a clipboard app that allows you to view your clip history,
you might want to try one. ClipMenu is great and
free – I use it all the time. It’s really nice to be able to just copy things
to the clipboard without worrying about whether I’m going to lose something
important that I previously copied. I used to live in fear that I’d lose about
something I had copied to the clipboard, and it made me less productive and
less happy. After I copied something, I always had this open loop, as David
Allen would call it, and it bugged me enough to make me crazy.
It doesn’t matter which clipboard app you use (as long as it makes you more
comfortable and gets rid of the open loops in your clipboard life). Try it out
and see how much more productive you are.
